Five-year cycle — required for every manufacturer
Industrial Register Certificate
The industrial register certificate (شهادة القيد الصناعي) registers the establishment as a manufacturer for customs, exports, and chamber-membership purposes. The certificate is mandatory within 30 days of starting production, valid for five years, and the gateway to industrial chamber membership and export-fund support. Three engagement shapes: first-time issuance, technical amendment, and renewal.

When this entity is right
Best for
New manufacturers within the 30-day statutory window from production start
Existing manufacturers whose certificate is approaching its five-year expiry
Operators amending the certificate after a process change, machinery addition, or activity expansion
Manufacturers blocked at customs or shut out of a tender because of a register gap
When something else fits better
Not for
Naming the cases this entity is wrong for is the whole point of an advisory call. The cross-links below go to the entity we would suggest instead.
Not yet in production — no operating license
The register comes after the operating license. If you do not yet have the operating license for the facility, start with the appropriate factory-licensing track.
See the inside-zone factory track →Outside-zone project still in pre-clearance
Outside-zone projects need governorate, EEAA, civil-defense, and operating-license clearances first. The register is the final layer once production starts.
See the outside-zone factory track →Retail or commercial activity, not manufacturing
Trading-only and service businesses do not file the industrial register. Commercial shops follow the shop-license track instead.

What this engagement covers
We prepare a tailored proposal after reviewing your specifics — activity, shareholder structure, sector pre-approvals. The lists below describe what we typically own end-to-end versus what stays outside the engagement.
